Rather than creating another disconnected workflow for adjusters and claims teams, VIP exchanges claim and financial information with ClaimCenter so operational processes can move between systems with less manual entry, reconciliation, and rework.
Because many carriers run customized versions of Guidewire ClaimCenter, the accelerator alone won't always cover every workflow or field a carrier needs. VIP can also connect directly through Guidewire's APIs, so custom configurations, extended data models, and carrier-specific workflows can be supported where the accelerator doesn't go far enough.
Guidewire ClaimCenter can send relevant claim and FNOL information to VIP through the integration.
VIP uses that information to initiate and manage downstream operational workflows without requiring teams or service providers to repeatedly recreate claim information.
Claim information becomes the foundation for assignments, vendor activity, billing, validation, and financial workflows.
VIP provides an operating layer between the carrier and the service providers participating in the claim.
Assignments, services, documentation, fee structures, and invoice activity can be connected to the carrier's existing claim information.
Payment initiation and payment data — approved amounts, remittance status and payment dates — post back into Guidewire ClaimCenter, replacing spreadsheets, email, disconnected portals, and manual data entry.
Claim number, loss details, coverage and exposure identifiers give VIP the record to attach work to.
New or updated exposures start the assignment, inspection or audit workflow in VIP.
Vendor activity, reports, photos and findings post back to the claim file as notes and attachments.
Audited invoice amounts and approvals write back against the exposure so reserves and payments stay accurate.
Your Guidewire team provisions API access or an integration user in a non-production environment first.
